A person shares the universe because it is constructed of processes and objects formed of them identifiable by their names.  Names are formed of sounds. Creation, sustenance and consummation are the three fundamental processes associated with any entity.  The sound “aum” is a composition of the sounds signifying the fundamental processes of creation, sustenance and consummation.  So, “aum” is the sound denoting the spirit of the universe.  Let us connect all that follows to this core of spirituality.

Let all the components of my organic existence, the words emating from me, the streams of life forces flowing through me, the visions that light up the inner sky, the harmonies that keep me tuned to the universe, the strengths that I feel within and the instruments for my involvement with the universe be nourished by the meditation on “aum”, to integrate my identity with, Brahma, the spirit of the universe.

Let my separate identity be not a cause for the repulsion of the spirit of the universe.  In whatever form it might appear, Brahma is not to be repelled.  Let me not indulge in any karma that will alienate me from the spirit.

Let Brahma pervade my core and keep me attached to the field of dharma where I enjoy the nearness to it always.  Let the awareness of Brahma dawn in me while travelling in the path of spirituality.

Thus, by dwelling on the meanings of “aum” let me attain the liberation from the sorrows in the subjective, objective and spiritual planes.
